Palnar had an interactive session, organized by CII, with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary for Ethiopia His Excellency Asfaw Dingamo and Minister Counsellor Mr. Molalign Asfaw held at Appolo Dimaro on the 22nd of November 2016. During the meeting CII requested the authorities of Ethiopia to organize a delegation to explore the possibility of doing business in Ethypoia and for network meetings. His Excellency Asfaw Dingamo said, he would be pleased to have more business relations with Kerala and assured all support for the CII team in exploring the areas where Ethiopia and Kerala can work together.

Our CEO Dr. Syed Ibrahim has been appointed as the first honorary German Consul for Kerala. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan officially inaugurated the Consulate in Trivandrum together with the German Consul General Mrs. Hellwig-Boette on the occasion of celebrating the Day of German Unity in Trivandrum at Vivanta by Taj on October 14th. Shri. Vijayanand – Chief Secretary to Kerala Government and Shri. Vijayaraghavan were present during the function. Dr. Syed is also the honorary representative of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and the director of the German Language and Cultural Centre, Goethe-Zentrum. Last year, the German President had awarded Dr. Syed the Cross of the Order of Merit to recognise the tireless commitment he has displayed for many years for the benefit of Indo-German relations.
